Blood is a vital fluid that performs numerous essential functions in the human body, including oxygen transport, immune defense, and coagulation. The corpuscular elements of blood include erythrocytes (red blood cells), leukocytes (white blood cells), and thrombocytes (platelets). Each of these components plays a critical role in maintaining homeostasis and overall health. This paper provides an overview of the structure, function, and clinical significance of these cellular elements.
