TRANSFORMING ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING THROUGH MODERN METHODS

Abstract

This paper discusses modern methods of teaching English in Uzbekistan and explains learner-centered education and the importance of interactive approaches. The lesson is divided into 3 stage they are pre-stage, while-stage, and post-stage. Methods such as the lexical approach, TPR, TBLT, and CLT are described. The study highlights using real-life communication, group working, and technology. It concludes that combining different methods improves students’ fluency, motivation, and effective use of English in real situations.
