Abstract
Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek va ingliz tillaridagi kompyuter vositachiligidagi muloqot (CMC) diskursida emoji va emotikonlarning psixolingvistik hamda pragmatik funksiyalari qiyosiy tahlil qilinadi. Virtual kommunikatsiya jarayonida subyektning emotsional holatini vizuallashtirish, matnning illokutiv kuchini aniqlashtirish hamda suhbatdoshlar o‘rtasidagi pragmatik munosabatlarni boshqarishda piktogrammalarning o‘rni yoritilgan. Tadqiqot natijalari emoji va emotikonlarning nafaqat yordamchi element, balki kognitiv iqtisod tamoyiliga bo‘ysunuvchi mustaqil semantik birlik ekanligini isbotlaydi.
