Abstract
Asepsis and antisepsis are fundamental principles in modern surgical practice, playing a critical role in preventing postoperative infections and ensuring patient safety. This article examines the preventive significance of strict hygiene measures, sterilization techniques, and antiseptic protocols in surgical settings. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of standardized aseptic procedures, including proper hand hygiene, sterilization of instruments, operating room disinfection, and the use of antiseptic solutions for preoperative skin preparation.
