Abstract
In recent years artificial intelligence (AI) tools have significantly changed students’ language learning strategies by providing opportunities for personalized practice, instant feedback, real-time pronunciation. According to research, the use of AI in language learning not only develops linguistic abilities but also has a positive impact on the confidence and motivation of learners (Smith, 2023). However, this shift towards automated learning tools has both constructive and detrimental sides. The study aims to identify how AI-powered platforms are contributing to enhance students’ language learning efficiency, specifically in vocabulary acquisition, speaking competence, while also presenting some ideas how to use AI tools effectively and maintaining a balance. This article also includes a research on the students’ perspectives about the role of intelligent learning systems in acquiring a language.
