Abstract
This article analyzes pedagogical and psychological factors that influence the formation and development of the concept of “I” in children left without parental care. It scientifically explains how the processes of self-awareness, self-assessment and identification of a person change in the absence of sufficient emotional support. The study analyzes the role of effective methods used by educators, psychologists and teachers, in particular, art therapy, play therapy, group classes and a person-centered approach in the development of the concept of “I”. The article contains recommendations aimed at improving the system of psychological and pedagogical support in working with children left without parental care.
