Abstract
The muscular system is a vital component of the human body, responsible for movement, stability, and the maintenance of posture. It consists of more than 600 muscles, which are classified into three main types: skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscles. Each type performs specific functions and works in coordination with other body systems, particularly the skeletal and nervous systems. The muscular system not only enables voluntary and involuntary movements but also plays a crucial role in circulation, digestion, and heat production. This article explores the structure, types, functions, and importance of the muscular system in maintaining overall health and facilitating daily activities.
