Abstract
In clinical medicine, distinguishing between signs and symptoms is a fundamental aspect of diagnosis and patient care. A sign is an objective indicator of disease observed by healthcare professionals, whereas a symptom is a subjective experience reported by the patient. This paper explores the conceptual differences between signs and symptoms, theirn clinical relevance, and how understanding both contributes to effective diagnosis, patient communication, and medical education.
