Abstract

This article explores effective methods for teaching British communicative behavior in English classes. It highlights the importance of indirectness, politeness, and cultural awareness, using role-play, authentic media, and reflective tasks. Findings show that integrating pragmatic and cultural competence significantly improves students' ability to communicate naturally and respectfully in English.
