Abstract

Motivation is a critical factor in the learning process and plays an essential role in student engagement, academic performance, and teaching effectiveness. Both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation significantly influence how students approach learning tasks and how educators design and deliver instruction. This article explores the different types of motivation, their impact on educational outcomes, and strategies that educators can use to foster motivation within the classroom. By examining both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, this paper highlights how understanding motivation can help both teachers and learners enhance language acquisition outcomes.
