Abstract
Clinical incident reporting is an essential component of healthcare quality and patient safety. In Uzbekistan, the development of a structured system for reporting clinical incidents is crucial for identifying medical errors, improving healthcare outcomes, and fostering a culture of transparency. This article examines the current state of clinical incident reporting in Uzbekistan, highlighting the challenges, benefits, and future directions for improvement. While steps have been taken to implement reporting mechanisms, factors such as inadequate training, fear of punitive actions, and limited digital infrastructure hinder effective reporting. By addressing these challenges and promoting a non-punitive culture, Uzbekistan can enhance patient safety and healthcare quality.
