Abstract

В статье обобщены современные данные о возрастных  и эпидемиологических особенностях травм органа зрения у детей. У детей младшего возраста существенное значение имеют бытовые травмы, контакт с острыми предметами и химическими веществами. У школьников и подростков возрастает роль спортивной активности, групповых игр и травм летящими предметами. При оценке последствий необходимо учитывать анатомическое повреждение, развитие амблиопии и поздние осложнения. Профилактика должна соответствовать возрасту ребёнка и условиям его активности, а её результативность следует оценивать по частоте и тяжести новых травм.
