Abstract
This article analyzes the emerging punctuation trends in modern communication tools and their impact on the Uzbek punctuation system. It examines the phenomena of minimalism and maximalism in the use of punctuation marks across social media, messaging applications, and digital platforms, as well as the growing role of emojis and special symbols in expressing emotional and communicative intent. Based on the views of Uzbek and international linguists, the study highlights the transformation of punctuation in contemporary written communication and its influence on language culture and writing standards.
