Abstract

Ushbu maqolada Birlashgan Millatlar Tashkiloti Xavfsizlik Kengashi rezolyutsiyalarida modallik kategoriyasining lingvistik va sotsiolingvistik xususiyatlari tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotning asosiy maqsadi xalqaro huquqiy-diplomatik diskursda modal birliklarning hokimiyat, majburiyat va institutsional nazoratni ifodalashdagi rolini aniqlashdan iborat. Tadqiqot materiali sifatida 2015–2017-yillarda qabul qilingan BMT Xavfsizlik Kengashi rezolyutsiyalari hamda Xalqaro Sud qarorlari tanlab olindi. Tahlilda Hallidayning funksional grammatika nazariyasi, Searlening nutq aktlari konsepsiyasi va Fowlerning kritik diskurs tahlili metodologiyasidan foydalanildi. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, “shall” modal fe’li rezolyutsiyalarda eng muhim performativ vosita bo‘lib, huquqiy majburiyat va normativ kuchni ifodalaydi. “May”, “must”, “can” kabi modal birliklar esa ehtimollik, imkoniyat, ruxsat va majburiyat ma’nolarini shakllantiradi. Tadqiqot modallik vositalari xalqaro siyosiy boshqaruvning lingvistik mexanizmi ekanligini ko‘rsatadi.
