Abstract
Maqolada bolalar latifalari qisqa hajmli verbal-yumoristik matn sifatida lingvokulturologik nuqtayi nazardan tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotning asosiy maqsadi ingliz va o‘zbek bolalar latifalarida kulgi hosil qiluvchi semantik, pragmatik, kognitiv va madaniy omillarni aniqlash hamda ularning o‘xshash va farqli jihatlarini izohlashdan iborat. Ishda verbal yumorning semantik-skript nazariyasi, umumiy verbal yumor nazariyasi, pragmalingvistik yondashuv va lingvokulturologik tahlil tamoyillariga tayanildi. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, har ikki tildagi bolalar latifalari qisqalik, dialogiklik, kutilmagan yakun, semantik nomuvofiqlik va bola javobidagi topqirlikka asoslanadi. Ingliz bolalar latifalarida school code, teacher–student dialogue, smart kid, wordplay, idiom va literal-minded child kabi birliklar faol bo‘lsa, o‘zbek bolalar latifalarida oila, ustoz, mahalla, odob, hurmat, non-rizq, tarbiya va frazeologik literalizatsiya yetakchi madaniy belgilar sifatida namoyon bo‘ladi. Tadqiqot bolalar latifalarini faqat ko‘ngilochar yoki folkloriy hodisa emas, balki til, tafakkur, ijtimoiylashuv va madaniy qadriyatlar kesishgan murakkab kommunikativ birlik sifatida o‘rganish zarurligini asoslaydi.
