Abstract

The article talks about Semantics, which is a branch of linguistics that studies the meanings of linguistic units and that onyms are one of the linguistic universals in the language. It also tells about the importance of a proper name in linguistic terms and about equating proper names with other parts of speech, separating them from non-proper names and combining them with each other.
