Abstract

This article provides a detailed analysis of the strong impact of modern information technologies, particularly the Internet, on language development. As a global means of communication, the Internet fundamentally transforms the ways people interact and contributes to the emergence of a new linguistic phenomenon — the “super-dialect.” The article scientifically examines the nature of the super-dialect, the factors behind its formation, and its main characteristics. It also offers an in-depth analysis of language simplification processes influenced by social media, the global dominance of the English language, memes, and visual symbols. In addition, the article discusses both the positive and negative effects of this new form of language on society, culture, and national languages.
