Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in foreign language teaching, focusing on its pedagogical, technological, and cognitive implications. With the rapid advancement of digital technologies, AI has emerged as a transformative force in education, particularly in language learning. The study examines how AI-powered tools enhance language acquisition through personalization, real-time feedback, adaptive learning systems, and intelligent tutoring. It also explores the impact of AI on the development of core language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Furthermore, the article discusses the challenges, ethical considerations, and future prospects of AI integration in education. The findings suggest that AI significantly improves learning efficiency, learner autonomy, and engagement, while also requiring careful pedagogical implementation.
