Abstract
Ushbu maqolada xotiraning psixologik xususiyatlari va uning ingliz tilini o‘zlashtirish jarayonidagi o‘rni tahlil qilinadi. Til o‘rganish jarayoni xotiraning turli turlari — qisqa muddatli, uzoq muddatli va assotsiativ xotira faoliyatiga bevosita bog‘liq ekani ilmiy asosda ko‘rsatib beriladi. Maqolada xotiraning esda olib qolish, saqlash va esga tushirish mexanizmlari hamda ularga ta’sir qiluvchi psixologik omillar yoritiladi. Tadqiqot zamonaviy pedagogik va psixologik yondashuvlarga tayanadi hamda ingliz tilini o‘rganuvchilar uchun samarali yodlash strategiyalarini taklif etadi.
