Abstract

The incorporation of digital platforms into conventional English classrooms has revolutionized contemporary language education by broadening access to resources, boosting learner engagement, and facilitating personalized teaching. This article investigates both the benefits and challenges linked to the fusion of digital tools with in-person instruction. Although online platforms offer versatility, interactive learning experiences, and exposure to authentic language resources, they also pose challenges like technological limitations, digital distractions, and disparities in access. By exploring pedagogical, technological, and social factors, this paper contends that effective integration hinges on careful planning, teacher development, and a balanced approach to technology usage. Ultimately, when executed well, online platforms can enhance traditional teaching and elevate students’ language skills.
