Abstract
This article presents a comparative analysis of idiomatic expressions in English and Uzbek languages. Idioms are an integral part of any language and culture, reflecting the worldview, traditions, and mentality of its speakers. By comparing idioms in both languages, this paper aims to highlight similarities, differences, and cultural underpinnings that shape idiomatic use.
