Abstract
Mazkur maqolada o‘zbek va ingliz tillarida mehmondo‘stlik konseptini ifodalovchi maqollar John Searle tomonidan ishlab chiqilgan illokutsion aktlar nazariyasi asosida tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqotda ushbu maqollar orqali gapiruvchining qanday ijtimoiy-ma'naviy harakatni amalga oshirgani: buyruq, nasihat, ogohlantirish, ifoda, yoki axborot yetkazish kabi nutq aktlari bilan bog‘liq kontekstlar misollar orqali yoritiladi. Shuningdek, madaniyatlararo farqlar asosida maqollardagi illokutsion harakatlar qiyosiy o‘rganiladi.
