Abstract
This article explores the psychological effects of social media on teenagers, examining both the positive and negative consequences. It discusses how social media can offer support, connection, and self-expression, while also highlighting risks such as cyberbullying, low self-esteem, addiction, and sleep disturbances. The article also provides strategies to promote healthier digital habits among adolescents. The goal is to provide a balanced perspective supported by current research and practical recommendations for parents, educators, and teens
