Abstract

The article discusses the issues of taking into account the characteristics of their age development in works for children and shows the origin of acceleration. Also reflected are the studies of scientists L.A. Wenger, K.D. Ushinsky about the development of cognitive processes, the influence of works of art on them, and presents the opinions expressed in this direction by M. Gorky and V. Belinsky. In addition, the circumstances of creating a pleasant psychological atmosphere and children’s interest in learning from the day they arrive at school are described.
