Abstract

This article highlights effective ways to develop media literacy competencies in the process of teaching biology. In today’s world, where the flow of digital information is rapidly increasing, students’ ability to critically analyze, interpret, and purposefully use information obtained from media sources is of great importance. The article discusses the use of multimedia tools in biology lessons, the analysis of scientific information based on internet resources, the development of critical thinking, and the creation of media content by students as key factors in shaping media literacy. The research results show that the systematic integration of media literacy into biology education significantly enhances students’ scientific worldview, independent thinking, and learning motivation.
