Abstract
The rapid development of digital technologies and the global shift toward education have significantly transformed modern educational systems. Online lessons have become an integral part of teaching and learning processes, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated the adoption of virtual learning platforms worldwide. This article examines the major advantages and disadvantages of online lessons from pedagogical, technological, psychological, and social perspectives. The study highlights the flexibility, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness of online education while also addressing challenges such as reduced social interaction, technical difficulties, and issues related to motivation and assessment. The findings suggest that although online lessons offer numerous benefits, their effectiveness largely depends on proper implementation, digital literacy, and the balanced integration of traditional and online teaching methods.
