Abstract
The article explores the significance of the teacher’s personality in the process of educating and nurturing the younger generation within the framework of the reformed school system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It analyzes the new requirements for teachers brought about by current educational reforms, the role of the educator in fostering students’ moral and spiritual development, and the creation of a positive learning environment. The paper highlights the key directions for improving teachers’ professional competence, the factors influencing their authority, and examples of effective pedagogical practices.
