Abstract

This article discusses effective methods for developing students' expressive reading skills in English. The essence of expressive reading, its role in the development of pronunciation, intonation and emotional perception are analyzed. Also, the process of students' learning to express reading is revealed using the example of methods such as model-based teaching, dialogue and dramatization, the use of audio-video materials, pair and group exercises. The article substantiates the importance of expressive reading in developing language culture, creative thinking and communicative competence in students.
