Abstract
This paper examines the human resource management (HRM) system of “O‘zmilliybank” Joint Stock Company (JSC), one of the largest financial institutions in Uzbekistan. Human resources in the bank are recognized as the main capital ensuring organizational efficiency, financial stability, and service quality. The study highlights the four key directions of the bank’s HR policy: recruitment and adaptation, personnel administration, employee training and development, and compensation with benefits. The analysis explores both strengths and challenges of the current system, with particular attention to factors influencing project-based activities, including organizational, legal, and practical aspects. Special attention is also given to the role of young specialists and women employees, reflecting national reforms aimed at strengthening gender equality and youth employment. The bank’s organizational structure—based on corporate governance principles and consisting of management bodies, central departments, and over 130 regional branches—is also outlined. The findings provide relevant insights for project institutions and financial organizations seeking to improve their HRM practices.
