Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration of the essence, goals and prospects for the further development of art pedagogy - one of the modern areas of scientific knowledge. The ways of its implementation and the relationship with general pedagogy are considered. The article is intended for teachers, parents and anyone interested in education through art.
