Abstract
This article analyzes the role and significance of information technology in the education system. Modern technologies play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of the learning process, expanding students' access to knowledge, and optimizing teachers' work. The article explores the impact of innovative technologies such as distance learning, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality on education. Additionally, it discusses the advantages of using information technologies as well as the challenges faced in their implementation. The research findings indicate that integrating IT technologies into the education system is a key factor in improving the quality of education and advancing the overall learning process.
