Abstract
This article explores the growing role of photography in Central Asia, particularly in its mountainous regions, as a key contributor to the creative economy. With its rich cultural diversity and breathtaking landscapes, Central Asia offers photographers an endless source of inspiration. Through photography, these artists not only preserve and promote local traditions and cultural heritage but also contribute to the region's economic growth by boosting tourism, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing local businesses. The article further examines the development of photography as a medium, its cultural significance, and the impact on both local and regional economies. It highlights the role of photography in the preservation of cultural identities, the promotion of sustainable tourism, the development of creative industries, and the recognition of Central Asia on the global stage.
