Abstract
Speaking is one of the most essential skills in language learning, yet many learners struggle with fluency and confidence. Teaching commonly used phrases and expressions can significantly enhance speaking skills by providing learners with ready-made language structures. This article explores the importance of teaching phrases, effective strategies for incorporating them into lessons, and how they contribute to improved communication. A table of useful phrases categorized by context is also provided. Additionally, this article discusses the psychological and cognitive benefits of learning phrases and highlights ways to integrate them into different language proficiency levels.
