Abstract

This article explores the role of international grants in enhancing the professional competence of English language teachers, with a particular focus on Uzbekistan. It highlights the significance of grants as financial and institutional support mechanisms that provide teachers with opportunities for training, research collaboration, and access to innovative teaching methodologies. The paper reviews key international grant programs available to Uzbek teachers, presents case studies demonstrating their impact, and discusses challenges and recommendations for improving grant utilization. The findings suggest that increased awareness, simplified application processes, and language training can enhance the effectiveness of grant programs in Uzbekistan.
