Abstract
This article examines the impact of social media on mental health, specifically focusing on the potential negative effects of excessive social media use. The authors analyze existing research and discuss how social media can contribute to feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. The article also explores strategies for mitigating these negative effects, such as setting boundaries on social media usage and promoting real-life social interactions.
