Abstract

This thesis examines the impact of the investment absorption gap on economic growth, emphasizing the relationship between investment utilization, capital allocation efficiency, and sustainable economic development. The investment absorption gap is defined in this study as the difference between planned investment volumes and the amount of investment actually utilized within a specified period. The research explores how insufficient investment absorption may influence economic productivity, infrastructure development, employment generation, and overall economic performance. Particular attention is given to the factors contributing to investment absorption gaps, including institutional inefficiencies, financial constraints, administrative barriers, inadequate infrastructure, and weaknesses in project management.
