Abstract

This article examines the role and significance of pragmatics and linguopragmatics in contemporary linguistic studies. It explores the impact of language on social and cultural interactions, its functioning in speech activity, and the relationship between language, speech, and communicative intentions. The paper also discusses the emergence of pragmatics as a linguistic discipline, its theoretical principles, practical applications, and the contribution of linguopragmatic research to the development of modern linguistics.
