Abstract

This article analyses the importance of the Communicative Language Teaching (CTL) method in modern foreign language teaching. In the current era of globalisation, the study of foreign languages has become one of the key areas of the education system. Consequently, there is a growing need for effective methods of foreign language teaching. The CTL method serves to develop students' communicative competence, apply the language in real-life situations, and foster free conversational skills. This article discusses the theoretical foundations, key principles, advantages, and role of the CTL method in the educational process. It also analyses the integration of interactive methods and innovative technologies with the communicative approach.
