Abstract
Sports play a pivotal role in promoting holistic health, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Regular participation in sports enhances cardiovascular function, builds muscle strength, and reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. It also bolsters mental health by alleviating stress, anxiety, and depression through the release of endorphins. Furthermore, sports foster social connections and teach essential life skills, such as teamwork, leadership, and communication. This article explores the multifaceted benefits of sports on human health and underscores the importance of cultivating a culture of active living to prevent lifestyle-related diseases and promote overall well-being.
