Abstract

The rapid digitalization of education has significantly transformed teaching methodologies in higher education institutions. In English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts, digital tools have become essential in promoting interactive learning, student engagement, and language skill development. This paper explores the role of digital technologies in enhancing English language teaching at the university level. It examines the pedagogical benefits of platforms such as learning management systems, interactive applications, online assessment tools, and artificial intelligence–based resources. The study also discusses challenges associated with digital integration, including technical limitations and teacher preparedness. The paper argues that systematic and pedagogically grounded use of digital tools improves language proficiency, learner motivation, and communicative competence.
