Abstract
Online platforms and multimedia resources have transformed English language education by facilitating self-directed learning and increasing accessibility and engagement. These technologies enable learners to practice language skills independently, interact with authentic materials, and participate in virtual learning environments. However, several challenges remain, including the digital divide, excessive reliance on technology, and the urgent need for continuous teacher training. Addressing these issues is essential to fully harness the potential of technological tools and ensure that modern innovations contribute effectively to language learning outcomes.
