Abstract
This article explores the history and development of international draughts competitions, highlighting their significance in the global promotion of the game. It examines the evolution of rules, the formation of international federations, and the organization of tournaments at various levels. The study emphasizes the role of competitions in enhancing players’ strategic and tactical skills, fostering international cooperation, and popularizing draughts worldwide.
