Abstract
The increasing demand for English proficiency necessitates innovative pedagogical approaches. This study addresses the problem of traditional, teacher-centered methodologies often failing to engage students effectively in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. The objective was to investigate the impact of various interactive methods on student engagement, motivation, and language acquisition in English language teaching. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from pre- and post-intervention tests with qualitative data from student surveys and teacher observations across three distinct interactive method interventions. Main results indicate a statistically significant improvement in students' communicative competence, vocabulary acquisition, and overall motivation when exposed to interactive methods compared to conventional instruction. Furthermore, qualitative data revealed increased student participation and a more positive learning environment. The conclusion highlights the substantial benefits of integrating interactive methods into EFL curricula, advocating for a paradigm shift towards more learner-centered, engaging instructional practices.
