Abstract
This article analyzes the main linguistic and semantic features of scientific medical translation from English into Uzbek. The study examines lexical, terminological, and syntactic challenges in translating medical discourse and highlights strategies used to ensure precision and clarity. Special attention is given to the translation of Latin and Greek-based medical terms, cultural adaptation, and contextual equivalence. The results show that effective medical translation requires both linguistic expertise and a deep understanding of the medical domain to maintain accuracy, coherence, and professional tone in the target language.
