Abstract

The article deals with the issues based on analyzing the role of AI technologies in improving EFL students’ speaking abilities. Through a review of recent studies and pedagogical practices, the paper examines the benefits, challenges, and practical applications of AI-powered tools in language classrooms. The findings indicate that AI technologies contribute significantly to enhancing pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary usage, confidence, and learner autonomy. The study concludes that the integration of AI into EFL speaking instruction can create more engaging and learner-centered educational environments while supporting communicative competence development.
