Abstract

Mazkur maqolada nofilologik oliy ta’lim muassasalari talabalariga xorijiy tilni o‘qitishda English for Specific Purposes (ESP – Maxsus maqsadlarga yo‘naltirilgan ingliz tili) modelining nazariy asoslari va amaliy qo‘llanilish mexanizmlari tahlil etilgan. ESP ning uchta asosiy nazariy ustuni – ehtiyoj tahlili (needs analysis), janr tahlili (genre analysis) va autentiklik tamoyili batafsil yoritilgan. Amaliy qo‘llanish doirasida to‘rt bosqichli kurs dizayni modeli (ehtiyoj tahlili, dastur ishlab chiqish, materiallarni moslashtirish va baholash) taklif etilgan. Muhandislik, tibbiyot va IT yo‘nalishlari misolida ESP kurslarining samaradorligi asoslangan. Maqolada, shuningdek, O‘zbekiston oliy ta’lim tizimida ESP modelini joriy etishdagi mavjud muammolar va ularni bartaraf etish strategiyalari, jumladan, o‘qituvchilarning ikki tomonlama malakasini oshirish va fan-til hamkorligidagi darslar tashkil etish masalalari ko‘rib chiqilgan.
