Abstract

In this article, the main ideas related to the communicative approach in foreign language teaching are analyzed step by step. The effectiveness of this method in improving learners’ speaking, listening, and interaction skills is discussed. Several practical strategies are suggested to enhance students’ communicative competence in the classroom.
