Abstract

This article examines key issues in the theory of compound sentences in modern Uzbek linguistics from a systemic perspective. It justifies interpreting compound sentences as complex syntactic constructions. The study analyzes formal-functional features, the relationship between proposition and modality, and the autosemantic and synsemantic properties of components. The results highlight the need for comprehensive analysis at semantic and textual levels.
