Abstract
This article explores the significance of pedagogical reflection in modern education as an essential means of teacher growth and professional development. The study examines how reflective practices enable educators to critically analyze their teaching methods, identify strengths and weaknesses, and implement effective strategies for continuous improvement. Particular attention is given to the role of reflection in fostering self-awareness, enhancing instructional quality, and promoting lifelong learning among teachers. The paper also highlights various models and approaches to pedagogical reflection and their practical application in contemporary educational contexts. The findings suggest that systematic and purposeful reflection contributes significantly to the development of professional competence and supports teachers in adapting to the dynamic demands of modern education. Consequently, pedagogical reflection is presented as a key component in achieving effective teaching and sustainable professional advancement.
