RELIGION AT THE CROSSROADS OF POLITICS: THE ROLE OF RELIGIONS IN THE NEW WORLD ORDER

Abstract

This article analyzes the role of religions in social and political life
under the conditions of the new political environment. The balance between
secularism and religiosity, as well as their their significance in the modern system,
is examined. The study also highlights how the misinterpretion of religios and
political principles can lead to international conflicts and the escalation of violence
on a global scale.
